To achieve this, the organisation’s IT had to meet the challenges of providing fast accessibility, representative arrangements and insight into the status of the most diverse processes at all times. In addition, the security of all the company’s data was to be brought to a new level.
Challenge
What is the current status of a specific project if the employee responsible for it is ill? How busy are the internal resources and when is who in the company reachable and available? Modern and powerful IT solutions, especially the well-known and popular Microsoft 365 package, solve precisely these questions and remain, above all, easy to use for everyone. In addition, the organisation wished to take security and availability of all data to a new level.
Solution
Derived from the network of the company, the increasingly widespread work in remote teams and the requirements of the customers, the solution for Taiyo Yuden Europe GmbH was to replace the old e-mail programme and its structural integration into the company and exchange it for a new, modern communication system — in this case Microsoft 365. In order to increase data security, Proact set up a better backup system and optimised Taiyo Yuden’s own firewall.
