The Position
As VP of Sales and Marketing you are responsible for the strategic and the tactical sales and marketing plans. You are responsible for developing the skills and the culture within this area.
You work together with sales as well as marketing managers from each country and they have dotted line reporting to you. Together with them you will identify improvement areas and implement them. Together with the other VP’s - R&D team, Service team and Supply team - you will participate in developing, conceptualizing and scaling our portfolio. All resources within the sales and marketing area are local.
You have experience from senior sales and marketing activities especially with focus on selling technically complicated solutions and services. You have knowledge about how to use new media in professional communication. The VP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for all major events such as Proact Summit, seminars and workshops.
To be successful in the role you must interact with different kinds of people in sales, global account management, country management and senior consultation. You are a skilled communicator orally in all kinds of meetings and events such as seminars and workshops.
The VP of Sales and Marketing reports to the CEO.
Background
The ideal candidate has both a substantial experience from B2B marketing and a former sales career with an academic degree in marketing or similar. To succeed you have strong presentations and communication skills. To be successful in this position you have worked 10 years or more in the IT industry.
As VP of Sales and Marketing you are able to interact with customers, vendors, industry influencers and strategic partners. If you have experience to use new media in professional communication it’s favourable as well as experience of interacting with different business areas in a Northern European corporation.
